Its been a while...

Just like with Lyla, my dad, Papa was the 1st one to be at the hospital to hold Jacob.

Grammy and Pa came over shortly to see the new baby.

Just one day shy of 2 weeks,

we took Lyla and Jacob to Dale Hallow Lake to see Mimi, Papaw, and Bre.

Not only did we get to see Mimi and Papaw, but Great Meemaw and Peepaw were there too!

What a special treat!!

Seeing that I will have to go back to work sooner with this time around,

we decided to start Jacob on the bottle sooner. I believe we waited too long with Lyla and she never really took to it. But this little porker didn't seem to mind one bit!

Jacob's 1st Dr Appt.

He weighed 8lbs 3oz

The Dr was very happy seeing that they usually only come back to their birth wt by the 1st visit. And Jacob passed it. She said that he would be another lb heavier at the next visit (in 2 wks). But with the way he is eating, I wouldn't be surprised if he is heavier still!!
