Lyla's 1st Christmas!

Christmas morning... Lyla is waiting patiently for mommy and daddy to finish breakfast so we can open presents.
I guess we took to long.

Lyla opening her 1st present.

Slippers from her Grandpa!

Lyla would kick her legs to kick the slippers off, and when they flung off she would just laugh and want to do it again.

Lyla's 1st leo from her grandpa. I had better start working on her cartwheel.

Some crocs from her grandpa! They are the cutes things.

1st cell phone.

Who do you think gave her this? Yep her daddy! She got a dozier and a dump truck.

but looks to me as though she would rather play with the girly car... j/k.
she liked to play with the dozier too!

She got some blocks, but seemed more interested in knocking them down. I guess she takes after her mom, seeing that I just loved knocking down Ricky's blocks all the time.

More toys! this is an interactive cookie jar. it counts, sings, tells shapes and colors. but after awhile those songs can get on your nerves... =)

One of jared's gifts from my dad. a polly pocket doll. this probably was one of the highlights of the morning. we just laughed and laughed when jared opened this. (its an inside joke between the two)

This evening we decided to go to a farm that puts up 1.2million Christmas lights. Lyla fell asleep on the way there and i had to wake her up so she wouldn't miss anything. she wasn't very happy at first.

live animals in the nativity scene

Lyla's favorite part. she got very excited when she saw all these tree trunks lit up!
Well we had a wonderful Christmas and we hope you all did too!
